20:12. ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಭಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವನೊ ಇಲ್ಲವೊ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಂತರ ಸಂದೇಶವೊಂದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳೊಳಗಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

20:12. ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ನಾಳೆನಾಡಿದ್ದರೊ ಳಗೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಇಗೋ, ದಾವೀದನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯವಾದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋನಾತಾನನಿಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

20:12. Jonathan said to David, "The LORD God of Israel is my witness. I will feel out my father about this time the day after tomorrow. If he is favorably inclined toward David, will I not then send word to you and let you know?

20:12. Then Jonathan told David, "I promise by the LORD, the God of Israel, that by this time tomorrow, or the next day at the latest, I will talk to my father and let you know at once how he feels about you. If he speaks favorably about you, I will let you know.

20:12. And Jonathan said unto David, Jehovah, the God of Israel, be witness: when I have sounded my father about this time to-morrow, or the third day, behold, if there be good toward David, shall I not then send unto thee, and disclose it unto thee?

20:12. And Jonathan said to David, "The LORD, the God of Israel, be witness! When I have sounded out my father, about this time tomorrow, or the third day, behold, if he is well disposed toward David, shall I not then send and disclose it to you?

20:12. And Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, [or] the third [day,] and, behold, [if there be] good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;

20:12. And Jonathan said to David, "The LORD, the God of Israel, be witness! When I have sounded my father, about this time tomorrow, or the third day, behold, if he is well disposed toward David, shall I not then send and disclose it to you?

20:12. And Jonathan said unto David, The LORD, the God of Israel, {cf15i be witness}; when I have sounded my father about this time tomorrow, {cf15i or} the third day, behold, if there be good toward David, shall I not then send unto thee, and disclose it unto thee?

20:12. And Jonathan saith unto David, `Jehovah, God of Israel -- when I search my father, about [this] time to-morrow [or] the third [day], and lo, good [is] towards David, and I do not then send unto thee, and have uncovered thine ear --

20:12. Jonathan said to David, "I make this promise before the Lord, the God of Israel. I promise that I will learn how my father feels about you. I will learn if he feels good about you or not. Then, in three days, I will send a message to you in the field.

20:12. Jonathan said to David, Yahweh, the God of Israel, be witness: when I have sounded my father about this time tomorrow, or the third day, behold, if there be good toward David, shall I not then send to you, and disclose it to you?

20:12.
